These little cards are just lovely to make. Barbara (friend and helper) is very interested in patchwork, and she has taken over the task of assembling the fabrics I throw at her in large bags and cutting them into thousands of tiny squares, which she then puts together in what is called a nine patch square on the card. They are then decorated with some free hand painting depending on the patterns on the fabric, so each one is unique.We have a huge collection of fabrics, some new, but many gleaned from charity shops and friends' wardrobes (usually with their permission!). It is very satisfying to recycle these scraps.
We have four collections to choose from - Floral, Tartan, Music and Rose/Cream.
They measure 4" square.
